Research Partners

Full Recovery From Eating Disorders Requires the Help of Many.
So Does Research.

FREED has a long history of cooperation with hospitals, academic institutions, non-profits and scientists, in the support of research that aligns with our mission and vision.

FREED encourages research collaborations with industry when such research does not interfere with FREED commitments and provides value to the eating disorder community. We believe that eating disorders are bigger than any one research institution and that collaboration is the need of the day.

Current collaborators include:

  • Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Partners Healthcare
Heart Rate Variability Study in Anorexia Nervosa
  • Yale University
Exploring the efficacy of self-help treatments in eating disorders
  • University of California – San Diego
Studying food aversion in Anorexia Nervosa
